Lamar Odom’s First Photo Since Overdose
Lamar Odom was Google’s most searched celebrity in 2015 and this year he has made his first appearance on Instagram with a photo of himself and his kids. The photo was posted by his 13 year old son, Lamar Odom Jnr. The caption read “Christmas with me pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed.”
This is the first image we’ve seen of the basketball star since he had an overdose last year and was rushed to hospital. His improvement since then has been steady but slow. Odom is said to have taken three steps without his walker two weeks ago and recently also saw an improvement in his range of arm movement with his kidneys and organs making a full recovery.
Meanwhile, his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, 31, has been enjoying time with new boyfriend James Harden, 26. Kardashian recently opened up to Ellen DeGeneres saying the basketball star has a long road back to recovery.
“He is off all the machines that help his organs but he has such a long way to go,” she said. “He’s learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences together. Cognitively there is a lot … it’s along long road ahead. “He couldn’t put words together today. But he understands,” she said.
